Sharing a love of learning with students of all ages.
Who We Are
The Lifetime Learning Institute (LLI) is an all-volunteer, member-run organization that encourages active participation. At Bard, LLI is part of the Center for Civic Engagement, one of many CCE programs that engage communities locally, nationally, and internationally. LLI is also affiliated with the Road Scholar Institute Network, a national organization that facilitates communication with similar groups.

What We Do
Bard LLI offers noncredit and noncompetitive courses taught by members, volunteers, and Bard faculty. We sponsor two seven-week semesters, January intersession events, and the monthlong SummerFest series in June, as well as special events throughout the year. LLI gives back to the community by supporting various College programs and providing grants to graduating seniors to help them complete their Senior Projects.
