Community Action Awards: Second Round Application Deadline

The Bard Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) and Career Development Office sponsor Community Action Awards that help cover costs associated with unpaid summer internships that support pre-professional experiences. Students identify an internship site and apply for funding.
Eligible internships address issue(s) related to the broad field of civic engagement, including education, government, social justice, human rights, media, public policy, the arts, and social entrepreneurship.
10 $3,000 awards for 8 week internships at 30 hours a week
15 $1,500 awards for 4 week internships at 30 hours a week
The CAA has two deadlines to accommodate student needs.
First round applications are due Friday, April 3, 2020.
Second round applications are due Friday, April 24, 2020.
