This summer, approximately 18 Bard students will receive a Community Action Award (CAA) from the Center for Civic Engagement and Career Development Office. These awards range from $1,500 to $4,000 to support student efforts to engage with communities locally, nationally, and internationally. CAAs provide funding for participation in unpaid (or underpaid, depending on availability of funding) internships that address issues impacting people around the world.
