Block Party Combines Food, Fun with Engagement

The event served as an opportunity for Bard first years, nearing the end of the Language & Thinking Program, to learn about the several pathways to civic engagement offered on campus, in the region, nationally and internationally. The various programs were showcased at tables, so students could discuss with staff or with other students what the opportunities are, while they ate some great food and played lawn games.
Parkhurst offered a wide variety of food choices, and two outside vendors offered gourmet french fries and ice cream.
