Civically Engaged Universities and the Pandemic: Strategies that Work

On Monday, May 11, the Open Society University Network and the Talloires Network continued their work with COV-AID, an initiative to support universities engaged in the global response to the COVID-19 pandemic, through their webinar series: Adapting to the New Reality: Civically Engaged Universities Offer Strategies and Hope. This series continues with the webinar  "Civically Engaged Universities and the Pandemic: Strategies that Work"


This webinar featured a panel: David and Rosalie Rose Distinguished Professor of Science, Mathematics, and Computing at Bard College Felicia Keesing, Director of the Center for Climate Change and Sustainable Energy Policy at Central European University Diana Ürge-Vorsatz, Assistant Professor at Ziauddin University Fatima Jehangir, Associate Professor at Singapore University of Social Sciences Carol Ma, and the Dean for IMU Community Engagement at International Medical University Khoo Suan Phaik.

This panel was moderated by Erin Cannan, Dean of Civic Engagement at Bard College.
